Chester Valley Trail

Chester Valley is a 14 miles paved trail located outside of Philadelphia. It runs from King of Prussia to the Great Valley and Exton. The next phase of the trail is currently being designed and will extend the trail another 4 miles to connect to the Schuylkill River Trail.

The website for Chester County has more information.

Update
The trail has been extended and as of March 2023 reaches the Schuylkill River Trail. A trail junction center is planned for the intersection of the Chester Valley Trail with the Schuylkill River Trail. Learn more about this future center here
A video of my ride on the extension may be viewed here.

Lost Coast

A remote and undeveloped stretch of the Pacific coast in Northern California this scenic drive has spectacular views and almost no cars. I rode this stretch of road near Ferndale, CA as part of an organized bicycle trip with Bicycle Adventures, their Northern California Tour.

Saucon Rail Trail

The Saucon Trail is a nice 7 mile trail south of Allentown, PA. I particularly like the variety of scenery along the trail. Portions of the trail were along Saucon Creek but it also passed marsh land, golf courses, farmland, and some very affluent residential areas. It also passed by or through several parks.

Learn more about the trail from the township website, the trail website,  or the Facebook page.

A video of my ride on this trail is posted on Mark's Bike Tock YouTube channel.
